Knowledge Transfer Projects

The Centre for Knowledge Transfer runs a wide variety of Knowledge Transfer programmes that are designed to improve the competitiveness and productivity of business by harnessing the academic expertise inherent within the university. We are one of the UK's leading KT providers and are among a handful of universities that have been commended by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) for our KT work.

Knowledge Transfer programmes are designed to help businesses improve their competitiveness and productivity by tapping into the knowledge, technology and skills offered by Universities.

The Business Faculty has experience of operating KTP programmes since 2003. The University has consistently remained in the top three ranked Universities in the United Kingdom a leader for in Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) activity. KTP is the ‘gold-standard’ benchmark of industry-academia engagement.
