Academic Research and Practice in HRM: The experience of InnovaRH.
Jaime Bonache, a professor at ESADE, one of the world’s top ten business schools, will discuss the role of HR in fostering innovation in companies based on experience in a number of multinational companies including Microsoft and Nokia.

3rd May - Andrew Seth (Chairman of Aptiment)
50 years in Marketing- 3 great leaders.
Andrew is chairman of Aptimet and former Chairman and Chief Executive of Lever UK. He will use his immense experience of marketing to present his view on the three people who have made the most significant contribution to marketing practice in the last 50 years. Who will they be?

8th May - Sue Fisher (Science Museum)
Corporate Sponsorship: A Conflict of Interest?
Sue Fisher is Director of Development at the Science Museum and has been actively involved in obtaining corporate sponsorship, a growing activity. She will focus on the pros and cons of sponsorship from the point of view of sponsoring companies and recipients.

Human Resource Management in the Family Firm.
Santiago is a visiting lecturer from. His doctoral thesis was on HRM practices in family firms which are more focused upon as an area of study in Spain than the UK. His seminar will examine the distinctive features of HR practice in the family firm and the specific problems they face.
